Two banks in Argentina have added cryptocurrency trading on their platforms.

On social media today, Banco Galicia, one of Argentina's major private banks, stated that it had launched a crypto trading option to its website. Brubank, a digital bank, later revealed that it had done the same.
On May 2, Twitter users noticed Banco Galicia's new crypto function, which was confirmed by the bank's official Twitter account to one user. "Yes! We are adding new investment options ".

A few hours later, Brubank said that it has introduced crypto trading to its investing page of the website.
"Yes, we already have crypto! It is a functionality that is being progressively enabled for all our users. When you have it enabled you will be able to view it by entering 'Investments' from the app," the tweet said.
